Deceuninck Aluminium has unveiled its new steel-look internal door and partitioning range, DecaluHome.
The first of a series of new product launches planned for 2024, the simple-to-manufacture system been developed to support fabricators access a growing market and maximise margins by making product, rather than buying in.
Easy-to-fit, DecaluHome also features installation efficiencies, while emulating the appearance of heritage steel internal door and partitioning systems with ultra-slim 34mm sightlines, it’s been designed to maximise sales.
Alex Holbrook, Sales Director, Deceuninck Aluminium, explained: “The market for internal partitioning and doors has grown significantly and will represent a continuing area of growth this year.
“It’s a product which our customers have been asked for and which up until now, have had to buy in. That doesn’t make sense when it’s so easy to make – as a fabricator you can hold onto that margin.
“It’s also a system which delivers distinct commercial advantage in retail, not only because of how easy it is to fit, but because of the design flexibility it offers, alongside some of the slimmest sightlines for any aluminium product on the market.”
With maximum heights of 2.5m and the ability to handle sash weights of up to 150 kg, Decalu Home delivers a multitude of design options.
This includes single internal doors of 2.5m high by 1,000mm wide; internal French doors; doors and side and top-light options; and a heavy weight pivot door which can be manufactured to 2.5m by 1250mm or 2250mm wide.
In addition to limitless interior framing and partitioning options DecaluHome also includes a sliding door, which can be manufactured to 2.5m X1200mm wide or a maximum individual sash weight of 100kg.
On top of the standard opening and closing mechanism, the DecaluHome Internal Sliding Door is also available with soft-close, soft-open and combined soft-close/open options.
The range also includes the Decalu88 Internal Pocket Door which features a pneumatic push close/opening mechanism.
“Across the range, you have the same symmetrical 34mm sightlines, while vertical bars sit flush with structural transoms”, Alex continued.
“DecaluHome single and French Doors also come with a fully integrated traditional steel-look lock block and plate, which also doubles as a kick plate, helping to keep stock-holding to a minimum.
“It’s a great opportunity for installers – and fabricators. As a manufacturer interior partitioning and doors allows you to retain profit rather than give that margin away by buying it in.
“In a growing market, that’s a big opportunity.”
