How Deceuninck Aluminium’s new UK stockholding is improving flexibility and service
As the year progresses, lead times, supply chain pressures and the need for reliable service continue to be front of mind for many fabricators and installers.
Deceuninck Aluminium’s decision to hold profile stock at Deceuninck UK is helping ease that pressure, giving customers greater access to key systems and a more responsive route to market.
“Having UK stock in place makes a real difference,” says Darren Woodcock, General Manager at Deceuninck Aluminium. “It gives us more control over availability and gives our customers more confidence in planning and delivery. They’re not waiting for product to ship, and that helps keep projects moving.”
At the centre of the stockholding strategy is the Decalu aluminium system, a modular platform that includes Decalu88 Flush Casement, entrance and bifold doors, the Encasa internal system, and the Zenova Pull and Slide. With profiles now available in the UK, fabricators can access materials faster without needing to carry large amounts of inventory.
“It’s about making aluminium more flexible and more accessible,” says Darren. “The Decalu system is already designed to reduce complexity, and this step takes that further by improving how quickly we can get product into our customers’ hands.”

Thanks to its modular structure and shared components across the range, Decalu simplifies stockholding at every level. Gaskets come pre-inserted, finishes are marine grade as standard, and profiles are designed for fast, consistent fabrication.
When combined with local stock availability, these features support a smoother workflow from order to installation. Installers benefit from more predictable lead times, while fabricators gain operational efficiency without overcommitting on stock.
“This isn’t about stock for stock’s sake,” Darren adds. “It’s a measured move that supports how our customers actually work. We want to take pressure off their supply chain and give them more control day to day.”
Deceuninck Aluminium’s approach continues to focus on practical gains that reduce friction in the fabrication and installation process. Investment in service, product development and customer support remains ongoing, with further enhancements to supply and system performance expected before the end of the year.
“Ultimately, this is about giving our customers a system and a supply model they can rely on,” Darren concludes. “We’re here to help them operate with more freedom, more flexibility and more confidence in what they deliver.”
